Baby Pottying

We cloth diaper Everett most of the time, and occasionally potty him. Before, I was pottying him several times a day and changing 3-4 cloth diapers a day. But now, I occasionally potty him and change several cloth diapers a day. He is in disposable diapers when we go out on day trips, and at night. He is a heavy wetter, I have tried cloth diapering at night but always have to change it in the middle of the night because it is so soaked, so I put him in disposables at night for my sanity. I would love to potty him more, but it really just depends on what we have going on that day, and how much homework I have. Anyway, we think he does look super cute on his potty!

Baby Bump

This is what I looked like on July 11, 2010, just two days before we had Everett. The picture was taken on the back porch of our house. It was one of those moments, oh no, I am going to have a baby and I never took pictures of my belly!

Baby Everett

Introducing our very cute baby Everett in his blessing outfit. I did sew his blessing outfit (pants vest and tie). If you look at them from far away, they are cute, if you look too close, they have a lot of mistakes. He was so tiny!

The baby booties were made by a friend's mom, they were super cute, and went really well with his blessing outfit.

I love these pictures of our hands and feet, it reminds me of how tiny he was!

I also love this picture of Everett and I, every time I look at it, I think of how happy I am to be a mom!

James and his classmates went on a hike, and first let me explain a chinese "hike" actually means that some one built steps on a mountain side, and all you have to do is climb the steps up the mountain, and then go back down them. It really is like an insane stair-stepper. This particular hike had 7,000 steps.

One of James' good friends Tad got married this weekend and I was a little nervous and excited when they asked me to do their wedding cake. In the end, it was a lot of fun! However, it did take a considerable amount of time, and I would never ever charge anyone to do this. But I think that I would like to make cakes for friends and family. I just think that it is more fun that way. I did such a big cake because they were expecting 150 people, however, they didn't quite have that many which meant a lot of leftovers. This whole week, my entire apartment smelled like a chocolate factory, and my neighbors teased me for making them crave chocolate. The cake is chocolate with some small chocolate chips added in the batter, with raspberry filling. And yes, all of the truffles are handmade. Some of them are chocolate, and some peanut butter dipped in chocolate. It was delicious, but I think that my chocolate craving is finally filled. . .probably for the next month.
